You Did It
Back in July of 2024, our Acquios Advisors Team came together and collaboratively developed a plan to create an event like no other. An event where all optometric professionals were welcome with their staff members and guests. An event to show one and all, there are great vendors to partner with to help you grow your practice. Vendors who will help your optical look different than the many retail stores owned and operated by large organizations. We wanted the event to help be a catalyst to Empower you, the practice owner and your team.
Empowerment ’25 took place in Kansas City MO on March 28 and 29th. The attendance exceeded expectations, the vendors were all amazing, and the networking was off the charts. The speakers engaged the audience, topics ranging from Dry eye, Marketing for your practice, Estate planning, Human Resources, Billing and coding, and much more. The reviews on every speaker whether an ABO-accredited or COPE presentation, everyone was talking and sharing their positive thoughts with all.
It was back in 2019 when we started to think about Acquios Alliance and developed the brand. It was in 2020 we made it a reality. In about 2022, we were recognized for the type of quality vendors we allowed to join our organization and today we are over 100 vendors strong with people inquiring about us more and more. Empowerment ’25 was a success, no question at all. We will continue to listen to our advising clients as well as our vendor members. We work closely with each and every one of them. Why? It is what is best for your patients and your staff. Your vendors want you to succeed, they want your patients to have the best of the best product. You want your patients to have the best product. The vendors within the Acquios Alliance are assets to your team as they will teach your team and help them to understand the products they represent. Other groups discourage many reps from being in your office. Is that right for you and your team? To eliminate resources for education seems stifling to me.
You have my word; we will always make our decision to do what is best for you and your business. For this reason, we have already scheduled Empowerment ’26 to take place on April 17th and 18th 2026. It will once again take place at the Country Club Marriott in Kansas City, MO. This is open to all Optometrists and their team. To attend, you do not have to be an active Acquios Advisors client or an Acquios Alliance member, we welcome all in the profession to come together and learn from each other to make your business better tomorrow and for years to come.
